Boats should be inspected by a professional rigger at least every two to three years.

We recommend all new customers start with a rig inspection.
Rig inspections reveal weak points in your rigging that could be potentially dangerous. During rig inspections our goal is your safety.

Flying Tigers

The Flying Tiger (FT10) is a new one-design boat made in China.

They boats are shipped from China to the U.S. in a container. Pacific Offshore Rigging has assembled and customized many of them in San Diego and Kasey has contributed to developing some of the rigging measurements for the class.

Our team unloads, assembles and customizes each boat according to the class rules and owners’ preferences. The team includes an experienced rigger and electrician, as well as boating professionals who specialize in hull-fairing, gel coat and paint for racing performance.

Each boat we have customized is now out racing competitively in one-design, bay and off-shore regattas. For some races, this new class even has its own start in San Diego! The boat is fast and...dare we say...economical! There are more than a dozen FT10s already racing in San Diego and more on the way.

Etchells

Pacific Offshore Rigging expertly optimizes Etchell performance.

We design rigging layouts that ensure crew kinetics are at their finest. Kasey, our owner and head rigger, has spent many hours on the water sailing Etchells. His experience with this boat assures you that your boat is in good hands. We can help you with all aspects of your Etchells program, including:

We sell Proctor and Charleston Spar masts and booms. We fabricate standing and running rigging and also take care of fiberglass and gel coat and repairs. There are critical measurements such as mast deflection that we can help you with.

The initial deposit is only $2,000. If you sail our demo boat before your boat arrives and you don't like it, we'll refund you the deposit. There are demo boats in San Diego, Los Angeles and Florida.

› Downwind gennerker/spinnaker: $1,750
› Trailer: Approx. $1,990 This includes aluminum frame with steel torsion axle, bunks for main hull and floats, support for mast on trailer and removable roll-bar on transom, light bar with lights and wiring harness. You assemble (bolt axles and bunks on) and register the trailer.

You will also need a small outboard and hardware to mount the outboard. If you would like us to purchase the hardware and install the outboard, we are happy to assist you.
